About Me

I am a British poet (she/her) who lives in the ship shape and statue toppling City of Bristol in England.  In the day, I manage emergency accommodation for homeless families and the rest of my time is influenced by poetry, writing, performing or being involved in events.

I have been really lucky to have many of my poems, highly commended in competitions, published and broadcast. Several of my poems have been played on BBC Radio Bristol on the most excellent Adam Crowther's 'Up Load' evening programme, last Autumn as the featured poet on National Poetry Day, 'The Answers' last Spring,  'You Never Cry Alone' Jan 21 and '6 Months from Now' in December 2020 and he interviewed me on his programme on Armistice Day about my poem ' Hero's Speak Quietly' that was broadcast that day.
